\nPart of a serie of 38 paintings (and counting) started in 2005 with a reference to French
\nPoet Guillaume Apollinaire (1880-1918), author of Calligrammes,
\nA calligram is a poem, phrase, or word in which the typeface , calligraphy or handwriting is
\narranged in a way that creates a visual image. The image created by the words expresses
\nvisually what the word, or words, say. In a poem, it manifests visually the theme presented
\nby the text of the poem. Guillaume Apollinaire was a famous calligram writer and author of
\na book of poems called Calligrammes His poem written in the form of the Eiffel Tower is an
\nexample of a calligram.
\nTo the very meaning of \u201cplay on words\u201d defining the Calligram, as a Digression, I wanted
\nto \u201cplay on pics\u201d to write an unreadable poem, playing with the shape (of the body) of my
\nsignature character \u2013 a little diver-, an Exercises in Style, close to Raymond Queneau \u2018s
\nwrittings, closing the Detour from Literature to Painting and Painting to Literature.
\nAn interactive picture, combining several canvasses, let the collector to create his own
\nartwork where he can dive in.<\/p>\n
