I’ve been honored to have the Ocean Geographic Pictures of the year, new u/w contest 2016/17, naming one of the categorie THE PASCAL LECOCQ AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT, along side the legendaries Ernie Brooks , David Doubilet and Jennifer Hayes Undersea Images, Eric Bettens, Stan Waterman , Ron and Valerie Taylor, Stephen Frink , Alex Mustard, Michael Aw and others.
7. Creative Vision – the Pascal Lecocq Award for Outstanding Achievement
We are looking for unique, surprising, artistic interpretations of the ocean. It may be intertidal or from the surface, abstract or ambiguous, but has to be executed to exacting photographic techniques. We will be looking for a distinct, well thought out process, originality and an attempt to convey a greater understanding of our watery planet. Code: (CV)

Working on set designs and costumes design for the French Operahouse Opera de Nice, manager Eric Chevalier,  for the up-coming opening show of the 2016-17 season: The Magic Flute by Mozart.

Aug 12- Sept 30 “Bhoti”curated show at Magnetic Pompano

“Bhoti”, an exhibition at Magnetic gallery, curated by Byron Swart for the upcoming Cultural Center of Pompano Beach, temporaly located at the  Pompano Citi Centre ( suite 104, near the Carousel) with 5 large size original oil of canvas by The Painter of Blue !

Bodhi in Buddhism is the term used for enlightenment or awakening. The understanding of the true nature of things. Artists in this exhibit will re-awaken the child in us by reconnecting us with memories in the past and take us back to a period or place with happy personal associations.

Artists featured include: Julio Green, Bonnie Shapiro, Surge, Mai Yap and Pascal with 5 large size original oil of canvas.

Magnetic Pompano is a pop-up venue managed and programed by The Creatives, the team behind the Pompano Beach Amp and the upcoming Pompano Beach Cultural Center.

Located at The Pompano Citi Centre, Magnetic is a dynamic incubation space that offers weekly poetry, film, music and art events.

The purpose of Magnetic is to build awareness about the cultural creativity happening in Pompano Beach and to begin introducing some of South Florida’s most acclaimed artists to the city in preparation for the opening of the Cultural Center which is scheduled for early 2017.

After the Japan, Singapore and Palau, Pascal’s painting are back in Asia during the Malaysia International Dive Expo for the 3rd time, see previous exhibitions .

The 11th Malaysia International Dive Expo 2016 has been scheduled from 29 to 31 July 2016, at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur
